An American transwoman expressed regret after learning via email that her gender had been altered from female to male.
The transwoman, who was born a man but underwent gender transition, posted a video in which she bemoaned the fact that his passport showed the wrong gender.
The current president, Donald Trump, signed a policy banning transgender people and crossdressers, emphasizing that a woman will be called a female and a man a male. This new change followed.
In the video shared by the transwoman, named Perysian Zaya Mekhi, it showed that his passport bio page, showing her photo dressed as a woman was changed to “M”.
She said: “In case you’re wondering what it’s like being transgender under this new administration, I just got my new passport in the mail and they changed the gender to male because of Donald Trump.”
She added that all of her other documents identify her as female and she has been fully surgically altered to become female.
