A young groom, who had just experienced one of the happiest days of his life, reportedly passed away only hours after his wedding.
Friends and well-wishers had shared cheerful photos from the ceremony, celebrating the newlyweds and wishing them a joyful life together. But the mood turned somber when news of the groom’s sudden death spread.
On X, a close friend who had been posting about the wedding expressed his shock:
“Innalillahi wa innailaihi Rajiun. The friend I went to his wedding yesterday is no more today. Indeed, the life of this world is nothing but enjoyment of delusion. Allah yajikansa da rahama. Please pray for him. He lived a good and kind-hearted life. Subhanallah.”
The same friend shared a video of the groom taken shortly before the wedding, adding:
“Went to his wedding yesterday, took this video 5 days ago, but he’s no more today. Subhanallah!!”
Another friend reminisced about taking the groom for a haircut the day before the wedding, capturing his excitement for the big day:
“Day before his marriage I escorted him to barb his head. He said, ‘Umar Dan Allah karkafini kyau ran aurena, subhanallah.’ This world is nothing.”
The tragic incident has left friends and family in deep mourning, a stark reminder of life’s fragility.
