On Thursday, March 23, police were called to the home of Barbadian singer Rihanna after a random man showed up to ask for her hand in marriage.
According to reports, the man traveled from South Carolina to propose to the mother of one, who is expecting her second child with partner A$AP Rocky.
When the man revealed he was there to propose to Rihanna, her team immediately called the cops.
When the officers arrived, they handcuffed the man, who was wearing a red Nike hoodie, put him in a car, and had a serious conversation about his intentions.
Despite the fact that he had not broken any laws, he was asked to leave the area and never return.

The man’s audacious gesture sparked outrage online, with netizens mocking Nigerian music executive Don Jazzy, who once had a huge crush on Rihanna.
Some joked that Don Jazzy, like the man, should have shown up at Rihanna’s door to announce his intentions, and she might have considered him.
