A young Nigerian man who graduated with a third-class degree in Physics from Ahmadu Bello University (ABU), Zaria, has sparked conversations online after receiving an unexpected opportunity to relocate to the United Kingdom.
The graduate, identified on X (formerly Twitter) as @SafwanIdris, shared a photo of himself proudly holding his BSc (Ed) certificate, openly acknowledging his academic grade.
“Today, I receive my original BSc(Ed) Certificate from Ahmadu Bello University, Zaria. Third Class Graduate ✅”, he tweeted.
Shortly after, another X user, @qroniqls, stirred reactions by asking if Safwan would be interested in relocating to the UK, noting that the opportunity is open to Physics and Linguistics graduates.
“Are you interested in relocating to the UK?” the user asked.
The exchange quickly went viral, drawing mixed reactions from social media users—many celebrating the opportunity, others questioning the criteria.
