Richard Osita, a young Nigerian man, has slammed the Nigerian Police Force for not taking his complaint against a woman who falsely accused him of rape seriously.
Remember that Richard recently made headlines when he called out the young lady, Bella Nwoko, for threatening to falsely accuse him of rape?
He claimed Bella, whom he had always considered his younger sister, had threatened to ruin his reputation by accusing him of rape on two occasions.
He said the first time was in 2021, when he declined her sexual advances, and the second time was last week, when he asked her to repay the money she owed him.

Osita stated in a new update that he went to a police station to file a complaint against the lady, but that the police did not take him seriously.
He then accused Nigerian police of not caring about men’s rights. He went on to say that they only responded to him after he called them online.
Richard stated,
“This is the problem with Nigeria, they don’t make female on male crimes seriously!
I spent the whole of yesterday in the police station and I haven’t seen any notable action being taken, just stupid questions and dragging their feets around @nigeriapoliceforce
I’m here again right now and
I’m being told to “chill”

They easily forget any good you have done to them in the past and once they have children, attention will shift. Anonymous: In this country people misuse the Police for personal matters. A false accusation is defamation and NOT a criminal matter. It is a civil matter. Police has no business in these matters. If she raped you or otherwise now yes that’s a criminal matter. Also this guy is fighting a losing case. You made public the accusation she made to you privately. So she can even sue you for defamation if she can prove her intention was not to publicly tarnish your image or defame you. Did she file a report that you raped her No. That’s where you will lose your Case. But you are here publicly defaming the lady because private accusations are not entertained by court, it has to be made publicly to qualify as defamation. So she can win a court case that you defame her with any good lawyer. From the periphery of the case this is a civil matter. Police someone will just throw small money to una and you will be arresting people up and down. What she did privately to you was wrong but did she make an official report or file. I’m not supporting anyone but explaining how the law works. She is definitely wrong to accuse you in private but it’s a civil case.
