Erik ten Hag has selected a 29-man roster for Manchester United’s US preseason tour, noticeably omitting ten important players.
The team will fly out to Los Angeles to play Liverpool, Real Betis, and Arsenal.
New signing Leny Yoro, who joined from Lille last week, is among the traveling group. Also included are Christian Eriksen, Tom Heaton, Rasmus Hojlund, and Scott McTominay, who have returned to training.
Andre Onana, Jonny Evans, Harry Maguire, Casemiro, Mason Mount, Marcus Rashford, and Jadon Sancho are among the other prominent players traveling.
Joshua Zirkzee, a recent addition, is not included in the squad because he is still on summer vacation after Euro 2024.
Due to international obligations and required vacation time, Altay Bayindir, Diogo Dalot, Bruno Fernandes, Alejandro Garnacho, Kobbie Mainoo, Lisandro Martinez, Facundo Pellistri, and Luke Shaw are also not present.
Tyrell Malacia is recovering from an injury at Carrington and Lisandro Martinez and Garnacho, fresh from their Copa America victory, are spending time with their families.
Mainoo and Shaw, who played in the Euro final for England, are also on a three-week break.
United will train at the University of California, Los Angeles, and play their first game at the SoFi Stadium on Saturday against Arsenal.
