A man has been left devastated after losing his savings on a failed football bet involving Manchester City and Manchester United.
According to reports, the man confidently staked a large sum of money on Manchester City to defeat their city rivals, Manchester United. However, the match ended in disappointment as Manchester City lost, resulting in the man losing a huge portion of his savings.
A video currently trending on social media shows the visibly distraught man shedding tears inside a betting shop shortly after the match. He was seen overwhelmed with emotion as he came to terms with the loss.
Reacting to the incident, an X user identified as @general_somto shared details of what happened, writing:
“He placed a huge bet using his savings on Manchester City to beat Manchester United and was very confident of winning. Manchester City lost, and he ended up in tears. He has been crying ever since.”
