Single Mother Torn Between Love and Pain as Ex Seeks Yet Another Comeback

A single mother has stirred conversations online after sharing her deeply emotional struggle over whether to give her ex-partner another chance—despite a history of abandonment and heartbreak.

The story, posted on Facebook by Branco Omolola Lily, detailed the woman’s journey through love, rejection, and single motherhood, as well as the difficult position she now finds herself in.

According to her, the relationship began on a rocky note when her ex-partner left after she refused to terminate her first pregnancy. Determined to keep the child, she raised their first son alone until he later reappeared in her life.

However, his return brought little stability. She revealed that during the short time they reunited, he refused to take financial responsibility for their child, citing hardship, before disappearing once again.

Years later, he resurfaced with apologies and promises, leading her to give him another chance. But history repeated itself. She became pregnant with their second child during this period, only for him to deny responsibility, accuse her of infidelity, and walk away yet again.

Now a mother of two boys, both fathered by the same man, she said he has returned once more—this time professing love and asking to be part of her life.

Despite everything, she admitted she still has strong feelings for him, leaving her conflicted about whether to accept him back or finally move on.

Complicating matters further, she disclosed that another man is currently supporting her and her children, though she does not love him, adding to her emotional dilemma.

In her words, she questioned whether giving her ex another chance would lead to genuine change—or repeat the painful cycle she has already endured multiple times.

Her story has since sparked mixed reactions online, with many urging her to prioritize her well-being and that of her children, while others acknowledged how difficult it can be to let go of someone you still love.
