Seun Kuti seen on camera forcefully attacking a police officer (Video)

Seun Kuti, an Afrobeat singer, has made news after a video surfaced showing him assaulting and slapping a police officer on Lagos’ Third Mainland Bridge.

The event sparked outrage on social media, with many questioning the musician’s actions and the circumstances surrounding the altercation.

 It is unknown what sparked the incident between Kuti and the police officer, but the officer appears to remain cool throughout the confrontation in the video.

According to the person who published the footage on social media, the incident happened on May 13th.

The video has since gone viral, with many people commenting on it.

Some social media users criticized Kuti’s behavior toward the police officer, claiming that violence is never the answer to any situation.

Others, on the other hand, have backed the artist, stating that police are frequently violent to citizens and that Kuti was only advocating for his rights.

@_godbrian: Imagine how an officer of the law is being disrespected making me wonder where this country is headed.

@PoliceNG

 please prosecute this criminal because only criminals behave this way

@zubikal: Wtf did I just watch?  such a gross misconduct , disrespect and assault on the Police.

@samueluba5:  if this guy is not arrested and brought to book a lot of Nigerians will want to emulate this attitude

@Obajemujnr_: Nobody is above the law; Seun Kuti (Mr. Know All) slapping a policeman should serve a jail term for it. We might not like the Nigerian police, but give them the respect they deserve. He preaches good governance while beating a police officer.

The incident involving Kuti and the police officer is currently under investigation, and further details are expected to emerge in the coming days.

@folconii: I don’t think anything will happen to him.

Just last year, Ice Prince, abducted & assaulted a policeman. That case died a natural death after he met bail conditions.
