What is an Admission List?

Simply put, an admission list is an official publication of names of candidates who have met the requirements set by an educational institution and are offered provisional admission into the said institution.

The Process of Releasing Admission Lists in Nigeria

The process usually follows these general steps:

1. Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME): Organised by the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB), this is the primary examination every aspirant must take.
2. Post-UTME: Upon passing the UTME, most institutions in Nigeria conduct their screening tests.
3. Ranking & Selection: Based on the scores from both exams, institutions rank candidates and make their selections.
