In regards to the late Bolanle Raheem, Lagos Governor Babajide Sanwo-Olu went to the Nigeria Police Force Headquarters on Thursday.
Usman Baba, the Inspector-General of Police, and other senior officers met with Sanwo-Olu.
There won’t be a cover-up in the investigation and prosecution of the offender, according to Sanwo-Olu.

Sanwo-Olu pointed out that the Lagos government and its citizens place a great deal of importance on the results of the case’s investigation
“Everyone deserves to know the process that will lead to justice for the victim and her loved ones.”
He emphasized the pressing need to take immediate action to make sure that fatal shootings “are reduced to the bare minimum, and, most importantly, eradicated.”
Sanwo-Olu demanded orientation and a revision of the rules and regulations, noting that the government would keep an eye on the situation to make sure Bolanle’s family received justice.
