A job recruiter identified as Mobolaji has taken to his page to drag a job applicant who attacked him after he mistaken him for a scammer.
According to the recruiter, he called the candidate for the job so he could look over his resume.
The job applicant, however, insulted the agent because he believed he was a scammer.
He claims the applicant was unaware that he had applied for a job and could be contacted for an interview. The young reportedly told the recruiter to ‘ find something better to do”.
“People are fucking stupid in this world. I called someone concerning interviews because I reviewed his CV, he though I wanted to scam him. The idiot forgot that he applied for interview and was telling me ‘this is a new year, find something better to do’. useless man” the man added.
Lots of people flooded the comment section with their opinions , while so were against the appliant, most blamed the recruiter for not sending a mail before reaching out.

@ThisEnesi: If you sent an email with clearer instructions and information, fuel will increase to 5k per litre?
Nawa o! The pride to even put this out like you didn’t know people have been scammed and kidnapped via interview plots. Oga HR
@LyndaUdoji: It is also not his fault. Someone applies for a job, 1year plus, he doesn’t get a feedback. He must have made too many job applications that he doesn’t even remember which is which. There are also so many scams going on in the country and job seekers have fallen prey to them.
@im_tolumichael: It’s a frustrating situation but that’s why you’re a trained HR professional, you’re supposed to know how to handle situations like these.
Many people are careful these days and security cautious because of scams. It’s not about you, it’s about their safety.
While I understand where you’re coming from, a little patience and understanding from your side can go a long way in situations like this.
@Alhajiabumaiqo: Mr Recruiter, why not sending him a mail? If the call was important why not first go with you introducing yourself briefly, the organization, the role he applied for and then transfer the message? By doing so i doubt he will ever deny you
