Real Warri Pikin, a comedian, has explained why she declined musician Davido’s wedding invitation to his wife Chioma.
The couple’s traditional wedding date of Tuesday, June 25, is no longer news, as videos and photos from their recent bridal shower have circulated online.
Real Warri Pikin admitted that she regretfully declined Davido’s wedding invitation when he approached her. She stated that she turned him down because she is currently in Abuja and working on her show, which is scheduled for June 28.
Warri Pikin sent a detailed video message to all the attendees and media outlets of the much-anticipated wedding ceremony, explaining what they needed to do to allow her and millions of Nigerians who could not make it to enjoy the event on social media.
The actress, who attended the bridal shower yesterday night, June 23, complained about the camera angles. She advised the cameramen and videographers to cover all angles.
She talked about the importance of using the widely used hashtag for the event, #Chivido2024. According to her, this will allow Nigerians to keep track of the wedding activities without having to switch between blogs.
