Bad Bunny, a Puerto Rican rapper, and singer best known for throwing a fan’s phone into the water in a viral video has responded to the incident.
The singer’s demeanor was seriously questioned by many of his fans after a video of him being interrupted by a female fan while he was in the Dominican Republic surfaced on Monday, January 2.
The singer responded to the criticism by posting on Twitter that it is disrespectful to put a phone to his face.
He stated: “The person who comes up to me to say hello, to tell me something, or just to meet me will always receive my attention and respect. Those who come to put a phone in my face will be considered for what they are: a lack of respect, and I will treat them likewise.”
The singer was recognized as the world’s top streaming artist for 2022. He has held the title for three years in a row and has racked up more than 18.5 billion streams.
