Ramsey Nouah inspired me to relocate to Nigeria – Adunni Ade

Adunni Ade, a Nollywood actress, expresses her admiration for fellow actor Ramsey Nouah and talks about how he was instrumental in her decision to move from the United States to Nigeria.

Ade stated recently that she has long looked up to the seasoned actor during an appearance on Hip TV’s Trending, which is hosted by reality star KimOprah.

She explained that his influence was key to her decision to leave her modelling career in America and move to Nigeria in 2011.

“He [Ramsey Nouah] was the one who gave me confirmation to move to Nigeria. I met him before I came to Nigeria and I told him what my goals and aspirations were. And he gave me a very good pep talk and I moved down.

“Imagine from 2011 never getting to work with him. And this is someone you’ve always admired. Then during a film festival, I saw him and I went to exchange pleasantries as usual.”

She went on, “The following day, I received a call from his very good friend, producer Chris, asking me, ‘Adunni, what did you feed Ramsey?'” Ramsey just cast you.’

“I had goosebumps. I was so happy to work with him on set. He is so different when he is working. I’ve been featured in another project with him. I cannot disclose that right now. He has been three different people to me: Ramsey Nouah the director, Ramsey Nouah the human, and Ramsey Nouah the co-actor. He is just a phenomenal human being,” she revealed.

Since making her Nollywood debut in the Yoruba film *You or I* in 2013, Adunni Ade has acted in more than 250 films in both Yoruba and English.
