A loving father’s heartfelt gesture of support for his daughter on her first day of work has won a lot of praise.
The young woman, who goes by @emimonies on TikTok, posted a video of the touching incident, showing how her father went to work with her even though it was raining.
She had just secured a position as a marketing officer at Zenith Insurance Buea, and her father’s presence made the milestone even more special. In addition to escorting her, he also signed as her guardian as part of the formalities.
“My dad came under the rain just to accompany me to my new job for the first day. I’m grateful for my new job as the marketing officer with Zenith Insurance Buea, and I’m also thankful for my dad’s endless love and support,” she wrote.
The video has since warmed the hearts of many, with social media users praising the father’s unwavering love and dedication. Many people shared similar experiences of their own and praised his act as a lovely example of parental support.
