The controversial activist, Verydarkman begins the planned protest against bad governance, stirring a slap from the street rapper, Portable.
You may remember that on August 1, 2024, young people in Nigeria organized a nationwide protest that has since prompted numerous requests from the government and other parties.
Three days ahead of schedule, Verydarkman led the demonstration with a sign demanding an end to poor leadership, according to a recent Instagram post.
His placard reads, “Emi lo kan…Is it your turn to suffer us? Mr President, do we even have a future with you??”
Sharing the post on Instagram, he added, “Emi lo kon is it your turn to suffer us sir? WE DEY STREET LIKE THIS #endbadgovernanceinnigeria.”
As a reaction, Portable, who had earlier claimed that the demonstration was not intended for wealthy individuals like himself, attacked the activist in the comment section.
“Aparo nobody dey your back everybody busy looking for money not cho cho cho. Fight for your self Don’t fight for them. Abiapapepe Agunmaniye,” he wrote.
