Mampintsha, a well-known and honored musician from South Africa, has been officially pronounced dead.
The 40-year-old singer reportedly had a stroke this week after returning from a performance with Big Nuz, according to rumors that circulated earlier in the week.
Maphumulo’s record company Afrotainment confirmed in a statement that the singer passed away on Saturday morning, December 24, 2022, in a hospital in Durban.
The family also said in the statement that information about the funeral will be released later, and they pleaded with the public to respect their privacy during this trying time.
