Before being released, he ultimately paid ₦30,000, he revealed in an update. “I paid ₦30k for my freedom. I’m out now! But this is ridiculous,” he added.
At the station, the photographer also disclosed that he had met a number of people who had also been arrested for taking pictures.
“While I was in there, I met these guys who had been arrested for simply taking pictures with their phones. As it turns out, the station has a zero-tolerance policy on cameras,” he wrote.
