Peter Obi, the Labour Party’s presidential candidate, is not resting on his laurels in his bid to unseat President Muhammadu Buhari.
Peter Obi met with some Nigerian entertainment stakeholders in Lagos on Thursday evening, ahead of this month’s election.
Some of the entertainers in attendance include Paul and Peter Okoye, Zubby Michael, Kanayo O Kanayo, Okey Bakassi, Angela Okorie, Nkechi Blessing, Freddie Leonard, Hanks Anuku, Tega Dominic, Uche Elendu, Frank Edoho, and others.
According to reports, the meeting focused on his plans to secure and unite Nigeria, implement effective legal and institutional reforms, and strengthen the entertainment sector.
Celebrities present at the meeting were also seen taking selfies with the Labour Party presidential flag-bearer in some video clips posted online.
