Pere Egbi, a BBNaija star, offers his thoughts on the contentious custody dispute between music artist Davido and his first baby mama, Sophia Momodu.
Notably, Davido and Sophia have been at odds ever since he moved on to Chioma, his current wife. Sophia has accused Davido of financial abuse and called him a deadbeat father.
Taking to the microblogging site X, Pere criticized mothers who use their children as weapons against their father and underlined the value of a father’s involvement in their child’s life.
He stressed that since the child is not at fault for the problems between their parents, it should not be a factor in determining the child’s ability to see their father.
“No child should be denied knowing and spending time with and being a part of their father’s life. You ain’t cool with the dad; that’s not the child’s fault. Some women are just unbelievable,” he wrote.
