Pastor E. A. Adeboye Releases 2026 Prophecies, Says Hunger Will Reduce and “Japa” Trend Will Reverse

The General Overseer of the Redeemed Christian Church of God (RCCG), Pastor Enoch Adeboye, has released his prophecies for the year 2026, sparking renewed hope and conversations across Nigeria.

In a viral video currently circulating on social media, Pastor Adeboye declared that hunger in Nigeria will significantly reduce in 2026. He also revealed that the long-running “japa” trend — where Nigerians migrate abroad in search of better opportunities — will begin to reverse, with many citizens returning home.

According to the revered cleric, 2026 will mark a major turning point for the nation. He stated that economic pressures would gradually ease, living conditions would improve, and food hardship would no longer be as severe as it is today.

Addressing Nigerians in the diaspora, Pastor Adeboye prophesied that those who left the country would find renewed reasons to return, pointing to better opportunities, improved stability, and a more promising national outlook within Nigeria.

The prophecy touches on two of the country’s most pressing challenges: rising food prices and mass migration. For many Nigerians currently grappling with high costs of living and limited opportunities, the message feels timely and reassuring.

The video has since generated widespread reactions online. One social media user commented, “If hunger truly reduces, that alone is an answered prayer.” Another wrote, “May this prophecy come to pass for our sake and the future of our children.”

Whether viewed through the lens of faith, prophecy, or national optimism, Pastor Adeboye’s words have resonated deeply with Nigerians both at home and abroad, renewing hope for a better future.
