According to reports, a Nigerian pastor and his spouse wasted about ₦5 million that donors had contributed for their daughter’s surgery in just two months, with no apparent explanation for their actions.
This information was revealed in a widely shared video on the well-known social media site X, which was formerly Twitter.
In the video, a man who seemed to have promoted the fundraising initiative through his network of contacts interviewed the pastor and his spouse.
During the interview, the man disclosed that generous individuals contributed around ₦5 million to help the couple afford the surgery their daughter urgently needed.
However, the pastor’s wife shockingly acknowledged that the surgery had not yet been performed and acknowledged that the money had been spent. She also disclosed that there were no leftover contributions.
