A lecturer at Unizik’s Nnamdi Azikiwe University has drawn criticism for cutting off a male student’s bushy hairstyle with scissors.
A lecturer interrupted a class in progress to address a student’s hairstyle, as seen in a video circulating on social media.
The man took out a pair of scissors and cut the student’s hair unevenly to conform to his idea of what was appropriate for a student’s appearance at a university.
Since then, social media users have taken to condemning the man for enforcing laws instead of using the appropriate disciplinary system after seeing the video.
