On Wednesday afternoon, a 20-foot container crushed a commercial bus in the Oshodi area of Lagos State, injuring the commercial bus driver.
According to Visio Talks, this is the third container-related accident to occur in the state in three days.
According to a witness, the cause of Wednesday’s accident in Oshodi was a brake failure.
While the passengers on the bus were said to be unharmed, the same could not be said for the bus driver, whose level of injury could not be determined as of press time.
Eight people were killed on Sunday when a 20-foot container fell off a truck in the Lagos neighborhood of Ojuelegba.
A 40-foot container fell off another truck in the Dopemu area of the state on Monday, just 24 hours after the Ojuelegba tragedy, causing traffic on the road.
