Ronami Ogulu, the sister and fashion stylist of Grammy-winning Nigerian singer Burna Boy, has expressed her excitement about his outfit for the 2023 Met Gala.
The annual event was held at the Metropolitan Museum on Monday, May 1, 2023, and was attended by a number of international celebrities. This year’s theme was a tribute to late fashion designer Karl Lagerfeld.
Ronami shared photos of Burna Boy wearing a blue Burberry outfit that she co-designed with her favorite designer, Daniel Lee, on her official Instagram page.
She wrote:
“Successfully convincing @burnaboygram to attend the Met is probably my biggest achievement. Thanks for having us @burberry, look co-designed with my fave Daniel Lee.”
Burna Boy’s appearance at the Met Gala has been highly praised by fans and fashion enthusiasts alike, with many commending him for his bold and stylish choice of attire.
