A lady’s post about why a nurse reported a senior medical doctor before being sacked from work has gone viral online.
The post, shared by @yvessaire on X (formerly Twitter), revealed that the nurse was called into the Human Resources (HR) office. Ten minutes later, she walked out with red eyes, carrying a small box with her belongings.
“One afternoon she got called into HR. Ten minutes later she walked out with red eyes, holding a small box with her things. Management told everyone she had an ‘attitude problem.’ No warnings. No write-ups. Nothing,” the tweet reads in part.
In a twist, weeks after her dismissal, it was discovered that the nurse had reported a senior medical doctor over inappropriate remarks about her body.
“She lost her income, her routine, and the career she worked years to build. All because she spoke up,” the tweet added.
The identities of both the nurse and the medical doctor were not disclosed. The post has since garnered over 1.8 million views, sparking widespread discussions about workplace harassment and retaliation.
