Emeka Ahamefule, better known as Blaqbonez, a popular Nigerian rapper, has revealed his conversation with controversial singer Portable before his arrest on Friday.
Remember that the Zazu Zeh star, who previously resisted arrest when men from the Ogun State Police command stormed his bar on Thursday, was apprehended on Friday, March 31.
Portable’s arrest was confirmed in a statement, which stated that he would be held until today, Monday, April 3, when he would be arraigned in court.
While fans, colleagues, and netizens await the court’s decision in Portable’s case, Blaqbonez took to social media to share a conversation he had with Portable just last week, prior to the entire police saga.
Portable in the chat had sent Blaqbonez a voice note asking them to do a piece together, to which he agreed.
Blaqbonez tweeted a screenshot of the chat, writing,
“damn just last week he said we should get in the studio, now he’s serving a life sentence. till we meet again my bro 💔🕊️”.
