Nigerian man reveals how his landlord enters the ceiling to spy on tenants

A Nigerian man, simply known as Fola, has taken to Twitter to share his traumatic experience at the hands of his former landlord.

According to Fola, the landlord is a creepy individual who spies on his tenants by peering into the ceiling during their private moments.

According to Fola, the man is known for acting suspiciously, as he has a habit of evicting tenants after six months, and he was no exception.

He claimed the landlord gave him a six-month notice to vacate after he spent millions renovating the apartment to his liking.

His stay at the apartment was described as the worst experience of his life.

In his words, “I went through one of the worst experiences of my life between August 2022 and January 2023… After moving into a new space in February 2022, spending millions to renovate and set up the space.

The Landlord issued a quit notice exactly 6 months after. Claiming his family was coming back from the US so they’ll need the space. Bruhhhh, I was so devastated cos I thought I had seen my “home/perfect workspace”.

Fast forward to after moving out, the bastard is listing the house for twice the price I paid. Guys, if anybody you know wants to take this house please do not let them, I’ll give you reasons not to.

Apparently landlord sends out tenants exactly 6 months after moving in. He threatened me a couple times with weapons. He is a stalker, enters the roof at random times to peep at tenants. He harassed my visitors countless times ( I had to stop inviting people over)

He started looking for ways to frustrate me, started sending cryptic messages to my family and friends. Randomly walks naked around the house (even during the day) The list goes on honestly. I’m not the type that talks about personal stuff online, only to close friends. Hence why I never said anything about it, instead focus on getting myself a new space to ensure the safety and well-being of my siblings and My Colleagues.

My mental health was in shambles, I woke up many days with serious anxiety and panic attacks… Cos amidst all of that I still had to keep my business running, maintain a good home and push out content.”

See people’s reaction:

@TomiwaImmanuel: Sigh. This thing is happening all over Lagos, and it’s so infuriating. So sorry you had to experience this, Fola. I hope you’re settled now.

@CameramanAustin: Damn…..I always knew something seemed off about that man, so sorry about this Stag……omo after all the work you put into that place

@chomzz_: I’m so sorry you had to go through this . Finally you have a better place to stay ❤️

@vickeysBatter: So sorry about your experience

I really have to admit that some landlords in Lagos aren’t human, you need to see the way they treat tenants, they just want you to move in get their money, frustrate you and move out so they can keep that cycle…and tbh it’s frustrating for youth.

@AAbusidechick: Had a landlord like this just that mine was a wizard.. always turn into a rat at night looking for what to destroy until the day I caught the rat.. that’s when I knew it was a human being all along.. his family came to beg for his release.. an experience so unbelievable but true
