Friends of Okpani Ugochukwu, a Nigerian man, have taken to social media to mourn him after he died today, May 19, hours before his flight to the UK for his master’s degree.
His death has left his loved ones in shock and disbelief.
Late Okpani Ugochukwu had been awarded a scholarship to pursue a postgraduate program at a reputable UK university, and he was excited to leave on Friday.
On Thursday night, he took to his Facebook account, sharing the news of his upcoming journey and expressing gratitude for the opportunity.
Tragically, his dreams were dashed when he fell asleep peacefully and did not wake up the next day.
The cause of Okpani Ugochukwu’s death has not been revealed at this time, and his friends are still mourning their loss, struggling to come to terms with his sudden death.
