A heartbreaking story has resurfaced online following claims that a Nigerian man, Tunde Thomas, died shortly after his wife confessed that he was not the biological father of their two children.
The incident was shared by an X (formerly Twitter) user, @rundriveng, who provided details of the tragic events that reportedly unfolded in 2017.
According to the post, Tunde’s wife, Moyo, admitted that her former boss, Adam Nuru, the Managing Director of First City Monument Bank (FCMB) at the time, was the biological father of both children. The confession allegedly came after Tunde questioned her about the children’s whereabouts.
Following the revelation, Moyo reportedly relocated to the United States, where she filed for asylum, citing marital violence. The X user claimed this move was intended to secure a Green Card and prevent Tunde from entering the country.
The revelation reportedly had a devastating impact on Tunde’s health. He was said to have suffered a stroke after learning the truth.
Tragically, on December 15, 2020, Tunde reportedly returned home from work, collapsed on the staircase of his residence, and died instantly. An autopsy later confirmed the cause of death as heart failure.
Tunde Thomas, a former employee of Oceanic Bank, was laid to rest on December 30, 2020.
The post, which has since garnered over 155,000 views, has sparked renewed conversations online about emotional trauma, infidelity, and the silent health consequences of extreme emotional distress.
