A Nigerian man shared how much he paid for a bowl of garri at a restaurant in a video that has generated controversy online.
His meal, which included fish, sugar, groundnuts, and peppered ponmo, came with a hefty price that left many viewers stunned.
The man, who goes by @briannwana on TikTok, showed himself mixing the garri and included a receipt detailing his order.
The receipt indicated that he had Ijebu garri with milk, cold water, yaji fried fish, sugar, groundnuts, and peppered ponmo.
The total cost of N14,000 triggered a flurry of reactions on social media, with many expressing their shock.
