A Nigerian lady’s unusual experience while commuting has left social media buzzing. The lady, who goes by the TikTok handle @keepingupwithkeddy, shared her encounter with a tricycle—popularly called a keke—that was anything but ordinary.
In a now-viral TikTok video, @keepingupwithkeddy described the tricycle she boarded as a “self-contained apartment.” According to her, the vehicle was decked out with unique features, including a teddy bear and a TV. Passengers were even watching a movie by popular actor Nosa Rex, famously known as Baba Rex, during the ride.
Despite the lavish setup, the fare remained comparable to that of a regular tricycle, varying only based on the passenger’s destination.
Sharing a quirky moment from her ride, she attempted to place a pillow at the back, only for the driver to explain that it was intended for passengers to rest their legs and enjoy maximum comfort.
“POV: you entered a Keke that looks like a self-contained apartment. He charges the same as other riders depending on where you are going,” she captioned the video, sparking awe and amusement among viewers.
Social media users have since reacted to the creative tricycle, praising the driver’s ingenuity in turning a common mode of transport into a cozy mini-apartment on wheels.
