A Nigerian lady has stirred widespread discussion on social media after claiming that a man gifted her N1 million simply because he admired her hairy legs.
In a viral video, she explained that the man stopped her on the road, complimented her legs, and compared her to someone he knew. Thinking he recognized her from social media, she responded politely. The man then asked if she had bought Christmas clothes, and when she said no, he requested her bank account details. Moments later, she received N1 million.
“He collected my number, gave me his card, and told me to call him. But I won’t because I have a boyfriend,” she said.
The lady expressed shock at how easily the money was given, especially when contrasted with how much effort people put into earning far less. She questioned why some men spend huge sums on trivial reasons, while hardworking individuals struggle to earn a fraction of that.
She also highlighted the double standards in society, noting that women are often labeled as “gold diggers,” yet some men actively encourage such behavior. “If women are gold diggers, men are gold planters,” she concluded.
The story has since gone viral, generating mixed reactions and sparking debates on priorities, values, and the dynamics of admiration and money in Nigerian society.
