A Nigerian woman has called well-known Nigerian singer Wizkid “immature,” “childish,” and a “clout chaser” for startling reasons.
This was revealed in a statement she made during a podcast.
As she expressed her opinions and called Wizkid a “clout chaser,” she also said that although she is a fan of the singer, he has been acting strangely lately, quietly insulting a number of people on social media—even those who have not done anything wrong.
Her statement: “I am a fan of Wizkid, and I am a fan of his talent and his music. Regardless of how you feel about Wizkid, you can never deny his talent.”
“I think the way he has been acting lately has been very immature and childish, and I think that as a collective, we need to start admitting to ourselves that Wizkid is just as petty and childish as his other colleagues.”
“He’s not the mature one because there’s a narrative out there that Wizkid is the more mature one. But the kind of tweets that he has put out recently really rubbed me the wrong way.”
“There were subs directed at Davido and his camp, and these subs ended up dragging people who are not involved in the matter, like Chioma, and it really rubbed me the wrong way. It felt to me like Wizkid has been clout chasing lately.”
