Nigerian journalist refuses to lend a man his bank pen because he was wearing a leg chain and earrings

A Nigerian journalist revealed that he refused to lend his pen to a male bank customer because he was wearing a leg chain and earrings.

This was revealed on Facebook by George Odok Jr, a Senior Correspondent with the News Agency of Nigeria (NAN).

The man approached him in the bank and asked for his pen to fill his teller, according to him. However, when he saw the man’s attire, he flatly told him “NO.”

He stated,

“I saw a guy inside the bank, he wore a leg chain and other earrings, he approached me and appealed to use my pen to fill his teller; I told him to his face that I won’t give him my pen.”

This didn’t sit well with a lot of people and he was heavily criticized and called ‘judgemental’ for failing to borrow the man his pen over his adornment.

Following the backlash, he deleted the post.

Netizens said that it was not something to brag about as he was being too judgmental.
