Basketmouth, a Nigerian comedian, has responded to those who claim his divorce from his wife, Elsie, was a prank.
In a recent interview, the controversial comedian stated that he and his wife are currently separated. He, however, refused to reveal any further information about the divorce.
To quote him:
“I am separated right now. People thought it was a joke but it wasn’t. People said is that a way of promoting a show and I’m like you definitely do not know my design.
“I do not bring my private matter on a public space. But it was something I needed to do for reasons best known to me. And yes. We were cool. Everything is fine. We completed 12 years.”

Fabulosgloria: Marriage is hard guys. These are sensitive matters so please be kind. It takes years of working on it to get to the point of separation and/or divorce. I just pray God gives them strength to find what they need whether together or apart. Everyone deserves to be happy and if it’s not in a marriage, then love yourself enough to continue on your own.
