A Nigerian man has expressed outrage after discovering that his MacBook Pro and PlayStation 5 were stolen from his bag at the airport upon his arrival in Nigeria.
The man posted a video describing the incident on the social media site X, which was formerly Twitter.
When he checked in for his flight, he claims that airline employees verified that the MacBook Pro was in his bag based on a scan of his luggage.
But when he got his bag back after landing, he found it had been tampered with.
“The MacBook Pro was missing, and the bags had been forced open,” he said.
His statement: “This is my bag, a MacBook Pro was removed from here. This lady scanned it. When I left Cape Town, my bag weighed over 19 kg. Now it’s about 13 kg. I’m doing this as evidence in case of legal purposes.”
He added, “They opened this bag as well. Both bags were locked and tied. Now they’re telling me that’s how it came.”
As the post gained popularity, a large number of worried people expressed their opinions about the concerning incident in the comment section.
