A Nigerian man has been arrested after he ran away from a gas station after buying fuel worth ₦58,548.4 without paying.

Following a report that went viral on the social media site X (formerly Twitter), this startling development occurred.

VISIOTALKS previously shared the story of a man who allegedly purchased fuel for ₦58,548.4 and then ran away without paying the bill.

Police apprehended the suspect a few days after the information was posted online.

According to additional information revealed by the post, his personal information was not in the car he was driving at the time of the incident.

It still contained the details of the person who sold him the vehicle instead.

The post also revealed that this man had done the same thing at another gas station before.

The post read: “THE CRIMINAL HAS BEEN APPREHENDED and is now in police custody! His name is ABILOMU ADEDOYIN.”

“NOTE: The vehicle was sold to him in 2023 (two years ago) with the plate number still registered to the previous owner.”

“Another fuel station has also identified the same man, confirming that he had done the same thing to them”.
