A Nigerian man has made a public offer to pay comedian Seyi Law £150,000 in exchange for President Bola Tinubu’s primary and secondary school diplomas and the names of the schools he attended.
A user going by @chymaker made the offer in a post that was shared on X, the platform that was formerly known as Twitter.
As evidence of his seriousness, he noted in the post that he was willing to transfer the funds to a third-party account and tagged Seyi Law.
His statement read: “Dear Seyi Law, if you provide Tinubu’s primary and secondary school certificates and the names of those schools, I will pay you £150,000.”
“I am willing to deposit that amount into a third-party account so it can be forwarded to you once the information is provided and verified.”
“Let’s stop tweeting for attention and make real money. That’s probably why you accepted an SA position that doesn’t even pay up to that in a year.”
The post quickly went viral, sparking mixed reactions from users who flooded the comment section to share their thoughts.
See some reactions below:
@McDanielEngrCo: “Let’s agree with you that he didn’t go to primary and secondary, how did he study in Chicago without O’ Levels. Would you say he bribed the school to testify that he attended?”
@famesh2002: “As usual, always dealing in the mundane. Why should anyone produce the certificates of another? It’s clear that you can’t support Peter Obi and have a modicum of cognition.”
@owolanky: “Should I do that and you will provide the money for me ? Shey oni ori e ope ni ?”
@IruojeElvis2: “This kind of blackmail against Pbat is dead and is irrelevant going to 2027 election. Using the same strategy used before 2023 election is like sleep with the corpse.”
@bulalathegreat: “Let’s assume he did not go…shouldn’t u be amazed at his level of intelligence and intellectual capacity to sudy at Chicago University. Don’t u think u are just worried about the wrong things. Who gives a flying fuck about primary and secondary school certificate ffs???”
@Oludari_: “I have forgotten that Seyilaw is Tinubu’s father and mother, you don’t need birth certificate too??”
@sebastineogb: “He can never do that for real, the Chicago University is the name of a woman and not his name.”
