After finding out that another man was getting married to his girlfriend, a Nigerian man confronted her at her store and demanded the return of the shop he had financed.
The incident was shared on the well-known social media site X (formerly Twitter), where it immediately garnered attention.
In the video, the couple can be heard exchanging heated words. The girlfriend, who has been with him for three years, questioned why he didn’t marry her but was now upset after another man was ready to take that step.
She said, “After 3 years, you didn’t agree to marry me, but now that someone else wants to, you’re crying.”
The man responded by explaining that if he wasn’t serious about marrying her, he wouldn’t have invested in her. He added, “Me, who invested in you, has no plans to marry you? I rented this shop for you, do you know how much I’ve spent here?”
The exchange continued with both parties defending their positions, with the girlfriend dismissing his claims.
