Phasha Manapyane, a South African, has told an unusual story to demonstrate the importance of education.
According to Phasha, his uneducated partner handed over possession of their home to a third party without realizing it was a scam.
He claims that a con artist came to their house and pretended to be a pizza delivery person, but his family never placed a pizza order.
When Phasha’s spouse was later presented with a paper to sign, she did so, believing she was simply acknowledging receipt of the package.
But, as it turned out, she had signed a contract of sale that she had failed to read in order to understand the contents because she was uneducated.
After a man named Alu Ndou inquired, he shared his heartbreaking story on Facebook.
“Does educational background matter in a relationship? Substantiate your answer.”
Phasha wrote;
“Somebody delivered a pizza that we did not order and we were required to sign a paper. I wasn’t around. My woman signed and that’s how our house was sold.”
