A Nigerian man has taken to social media to express his frustration after his date labeled him a “fool” for not initiating sex despite spending heavily on her.
The incident was shared by user @BigDicksoon on X (formerly Twitter), where he recounted how he treated a lady he liked to a night out, spending ₦45,000 on food, ₦30,000 on her outfit, ₦7,000 on a cab, and an additional ₦20,000 in cash.
However, according to him, a mutual friend later informed him that the lady mocked him in a group chat, calling him a fool for not requesting sex during the date.
“I invited this girl out, spent over ₦45k on food and sent her extra ₦20k, booked a ₦7k cab for her, and she went to tell her friends she used me and I’m a fool ’cause I didn’t request sex as a gentleman,” he wrote.
He also mentioned that they had been talking for four months, and the lady claimed she couldn’t date him because he didn’t attend a tertiary institution. He added that she didn’t even wear the dress he paid for, opting for an old one instead.
Hours after his post went viral, he shared an update revealing the lady had messaged him, pleading with him to delete the post while also cursing him.
