A Nigerian man lost his mother’s ₦500k in an online gambling game, so he posted a video of himself sobbing and begging for assistance on social media.
The man is seen in the video, which was uploaded to the social media site X (formerly Twitter), pleading for help and admitting that he had gambled with his mother’s money.
In one of the videos, he tearfully says, “Everyone help me, I’m going to die. Please help me. I lost ₦500k to virtual betting. This is my mother’s money, not mine. Please, I’m going to die.”
He also uploaded a second video showing the gaming company taking the ₦500,000 withdrawal from the account and receiving it.
