A Nigerian man identified as Dumebi has described how a Nigerian human resources personnel prevented their white boss from promoting a fellow Nigerian.
Dumebi took to Twitter to share how the HR personnel used the excuse that Nigerians do not earn that much at their age.
He wrote:
“A friend was denied a promotion and salary raise recommended by her white manager because according to the Nigerian HR “Nigerians of that age shouldn’t earn that much”
This happened in an Oil Company”

If more people understood that the wealthier Nigerians are, the more wealth will be available to go around, we might see less of this
