Man Cries Out as Ex-Wife Allegedly Uses His Number for EasyBuy Loan, Leaves Him Facing Debt Calls

A Nigerian man has cried out online after receiving repeated calls from a phone vendor over an EasyBuy debt linked to his phone number.

In a viral video shared on X (formerly Twitter), he revealed that he was unaware of any purchase or agreement until the constant calls began, prompting him to investigate the issue.

In his words, he said:

“I kept getting calls from a phone vendor about an EasyBuy account. I didn’t understand because I never bought anything,” he said.

After making inquiries, the man discovered that his phone number had allegedly been used to register the EasyBuy account by his ex-wife without his knowledge.

The situation has left him frustrated, as he now has to deal with the stress of explaining a debt he claims he knows nothing about.

Only for me to find out that my ex-wife used my number to register for it. Now I’m the one they keep calling,” he added.

According to him, his ex-wife’s actions may be intentional, as he claimed she is trying to trigger his health condition, noting that he is hypertensive.

The incident has sparked reactions online, with many users sharing mixed opinions on the situation.
