According to a Nigerian man, he no longer enjoys his wife’s company because the Nigerian Nursing and Midwifery Council (NMCN) always assigns her to night duty.
He posted this on his page using the well-known social media app TikTok.
According to the video, he no longer enjoys his wife’s company because she is always working at night, which keeps her from fulfilling her role as his wife.
His statement: “I’m calling out the NMCN, Nigerian Nursing and Midwifery Council, to please stop putting married women on night duties. It’s affecting us, the husbands. I don’t enjoy my wife anymore, especially when she’s on night duties. Please.”
As he said this, his wife, who appeared in the background, told him to stop lying, but he insisted he was telling the truth.
She admitted that they had a good time together that day, but he made it clear that this was all that happened and that he did not have access to her on other days.
He said, “Only today, since you’ve been going. I don’t enjoy my wife anymore. I sleep alone; I’m missing her. When she comes back in the morning around 9 or even 10 sometimes, the only thing she wants to do is sleep. She sleeps for 4 to 5 hours.”
“When she wakes up around 2 or 3, she will cook and prepare to go to work again. Is that even a life?”
In his final message, he urged the medical council to assign night duties only to single people.
