A Nigerian man has expressed frustration online after a car he bid on for ₦4.5 million on the EFCC website mysteriously disappeared, with his details allegedly wiped from the site.
The individual accused the EFCC of foul play in a post that was posted on the social media site X, which was formerly Twitter.
He claims that the car he paid ₦4.5 million for vanished from the EFCC auction site.He clarified that he had bid on the car and discovered the following day that it was no longer on the auction site.
His information had also been deleted.
He added that the winner of the auction was a bidder who did not take part in the bidding process.
He stated: “I bid for a Toyota Camry on USBU-A and won the auction, but when I checked this morning, my details had been removed from the site. It was another bidder who didn’t even participate in the auction that was listed as the winner.”
