Lateef Adedimeji, a popular Nigerian actor, has thanked God for sparing his life after a failed car break incident that nearly killed him.
After expressing a mechanical failure, the actor, whose first wedding anniversary is just days away, recounted his ordeal.
Adedimeji expressed his gratitude to God for coming through for him and his family in a post on his Instagram page.
“May the Almighty be praised. Which of the blessings of God will I deny? You are indeed worthy of all my praise. Thank you for your love, thank you for my family, thank you for my wife, thank you for saving me, that I escaped death a few days ago with the break failure is all by your grace, thank you God for always coming through for us. I will praise you always Allah,” he wrote.
The Nollywood actor and his wife, Bimpe Oyebade, married in December 2021 in a somewhat private but elegant ceremony, after which they flooded the internet with photos and videos of the event.
The couple, who are well-liked both in and out of the industry, will celebrate their anniversary this month.
