A Nigerian woman has shared a disturbing voicemail that she claims was sent by her landlord, in which he threatened to violate her rights after she turned down his proposal of a relationship.
She shared the video on her TikTok page, where she made a fleeting appearance before the voice message the landlord allegedly sent her on WhatsApp began to play.
She connected the landlord’s intimidating comments to her rejection of his romantic advances in the caption.
She wrote: “You rejected your landlord’s proposal?”
In the voice note, the landlord could be heard ranting, saying: “See somebody I’m always playing with. I’ll put my eyes on you, you’ll be uncomfortable in this compound. I want to infringe into your right.”
“If na light bill wey you suppose give and you no give, I’ll cut your light. If on Saturday they do anything and you’re not involved, you’ll know who I am.”
The post quickly went viral, prompting several social media users to flood the comment section with reactions and concerns.
